Manchester United bring #ILOVEUNITED event to Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: The English Premier League (EPL) football team Manchester United will for the first time bring the #ILOVEUNITED to Malaysia.
According to a statement which was issued today, it is a special event being organised by the club so that their supporters could gather and see direct telecasts en masse.
"#ILOVEUNITED will take place on Saturday, March 10 at Berjaya Times Square, Kuala Lumpur where Manchester United will meet its nemesis Liverpool in a match awaited by fans.
"These exclusive events have been held at several locations around the world and United are excited to bring them for the first time in Malaysia and this event is open and free for supporters," the statement said today.
According to the statement, Manchester United's ambassadors, Dwight Yorke and Dennis Irwin and club legend, David May, would be present to meet fans other than having the opportunity to know local culture and giving match views and analysis.
Spectators will also be feted with entertainments and contests, in which they would be able to win a VIP trip to Old Trafford.
In addition, through the events, fans worldwide could connect interactively for uploading pictures and videos of them cheering for their team.
The #ILOVEUNITED event is free to all and Manchester United fans are asked to request for entrance tickets online at www.manutd.com/iloveunited before midnight on March 4.
Each application will then be voted on and the tickets to be issued at random and successful applications would be be notified via email no later than March 6.
For fans who have officially registered as members of the Manchester United support club, they are assured of getting tickets to the event by entering their membership number during the application process. — Bernama
