Actor-comedian remanded over drug case

KUALA LUMPUR:- An actor and comedian, who was detained on Wednesday following the discovery of drug paraphernalia used to smoke ganja, has been remanded for three days beginning yesterday.
Wangsa Maju police chief Supt Mohamad Roy Suhaimi Sarif said the 26-year-old man was picked up at his house in Taman Melati here.
"So far, no other individuals have been detained following his arrest," he said when contacted by Bernama today.
Mohamad Roy Suhaimi said the case was investigated under Section 6 of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
In a raid at about 1pm on Wednesday, the police seized 7.5g of ganja and a tool to grind the cannabis leaves. — Bernama
