Club Pix racer died in road accident

NILAI: National Club Pix racer Zaidy Mohamad Zaifaizal Mahendran, 27, died in an accident involving two motorcycles at Km 22.9 of the Lekas Highway, early today.
Nilai Police District chief Supt Zaldino Zaludin said in the 3.20am incident, another motorcyclist Dzul Fikar Idris, 27, suffered injuries on the body, hands and legs.
"The accident is believed to have occurred when the victim, who was heading to Kuala Lumpur, was on the left lane and tried to avoid an object on the road.
"He then skidded to the right lane while Dzul Fikar, who was riding on the middle lane, also skidded and fell off his motorcycle when trying to avoid colliding with the victim's motorcycle," he said in a statement here today.
Zaldino said Zaidy's body was sent to the Tuanku Jaafar Seremban Hospital for post-mortem while Dzul Fikar was sent to the Kajang Hospital for treatment.
"Both vehicles will be sent to the Chemistry Department for criminalistics analysis," he added. — Bernama
