United Plantations up 1.3% on proposed RM1.20 dividend per share

PETALING JAYA: Shares of United Plantations Bhd gained 36 sen or 1.3% this morning after it proposed to declare a dividend of RM1.20 per share for the financial year ended December 31, 2017.
Trading in United Plantations shares was suspended from 9am to 10am this morning pending the dividend announcement.
At 11.45am, the stock traded at RM28.60 on some 4,900 shares done.
It told Bursa Malaysia that the dividend payout comprises a special dividend of RM1 and a final dividend of 20 sen, payable on May 18.
