Perisai Petroleum most active, jumps 30%

PETALING JAYA: Perisai Petroleum Teknologi Bhd's share price jumped 30% or 1.5 sen this morning, after it reported a strong net profit for the second quarter ended Dec 31, 2017.
At 10.40am, the stock, which was the most active counter, stood at 6.5 sen with 54.3 million shares changing hands. The group has a market capitalisation of RM81.96 million.
Its net profit for the quarter surged almost 300% to RM40.8 million, against RM10.2 million in the previous corresponding quarter, mainly due to surplus of RM79.75 million arising from deconsolidation of the group's indirect subsidiary.
