Lion Diversified accepts RM9.9m compensation for land acquisition under protest

PETALING JAYA: Practice Note 17 (PN17) company Lion Diversified Holdings Bhd has received a total of RM9.9 million from the government for the compulsory acquisition of part of its land in Kuala Langat, Selangor.
However, it said the compensation sum was accepted under protest without further elaboration.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Lion Diversified said the land has been compulsorily acquired by Pejabat Daerah/Tanah Kuala Langat for Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) for the purpose of routing of 500kV power transmission by TNB.
Its share price closed unchanged at 3.5 sen with some 132,000 shares done.
