Suspend CID chief immediately, says Johor PKR chief

JOHOR BARU: Johor Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) chairman Hassan Karim has lodged a report over Federal Criminal Investigations Department (CID) director Commissioner Datuk Seri Wan Ahmad Najmuddin Mohd's nearly RM1 million money transfers with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) here today.
He said the CID chief should be suspended. "MACC should carry out the investigations with transparency because it should responsible to the Parliament", he said.
"The issue has become public interest, the proposed investigation can clear the name of the national CID chief if he is found innocent. It helps to increase the people's confidence in the police and MACC."
Several PKR leaders include Johor PKR deputy chairman Jimmy Puah Wee Tse (Bukit Batu state assemblyman), Dr. Hashim Yusoff from Johor Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM) were also at the Johor MACC building.
