PUC signs 3-year exclusive partnership for imaging services at Hello Kitty Shanghai

PETALING JAYA: PUC Bhd's unit Pictureworks (Shanghai) Ltd has signed a three-year exclusive partnership with real estate firm Shimao Group Themepark Company to deliver full-fledged imaging services and customised photo merchandise for the "Hello Kitty Shanghai Times" indoor theme park.
The theme park is targeted to soft-open in September this year.
PUC, which is involved in integrated media services, e-commerce and e-wallet related services, technology and renewable energy businesses, announced the proposed acquisition of a 33% stake in Pictureworks last December, marking the group's entry into the imagery capture sector.
The acquisition is expected for completion in the second quarter of this year.
At 3pm, PUC's share price was down by 1.5 sen or 6.3% to 22.5 sen on some 11.37 million shares done.
