Horizon Zero Dawn hits 7.6million sales worldwide

SONY Interactive Entertainment (SIE) announced that global sales of Horizon Zero Dawn had exceeded 7.6 million copies just one year since it launched exclusively on PlayStation 4 (PS4).
The exceptional year-one-sales mark Horizon Zero Dawn as the most successful new first-party franchise launch on PS4.
Horizon Zero Dawn was released on Feb 28, 2017, to widespread critical acclaim, winning numerous industry awards.
“The combination of beautiful story-telling and great characters, with excellent gameplay mechanics, has resonated well with fans and led to this exceptional sales milestone,” said Shawn Layden, Chairman of SIE Worldwide Studio.
Meanwhile, Sony Interactive Entertainment Hong Kong Limited Singapore Branch (SIES) announced that another highly anticipated title, Detroit: Become Human, will be released on May 25.
Detroit: Become Human is the latest title in development by Quantic Dream that expands on the studio’s legacy of gripping, narrative-driven experiences which included Fahrenheit, Heavy Rain, and BEYOND: Two Souls.
Set in Detroit City during the year 2038, the city has been revitalised by the invention and introduction of Androids into everyday life. But, when Androids start behaving as if they are alive, events begin to spin out of control.
In the game, you step into the roles of the story’s pivotal three playable characters, Kara, Connor and Markus, each with unique perspectives as they face their new way of life.
The suggested retail price of Blu-ray Disc Standard version and Collector’s edition will be RM229 and RM259; the Digital Standard version will be RM209, and the Digital Deluxe version will be RM249.
The Collector’s Edition and Digital Deluxe Edition will include a copy of the game, art book (digital or physical, depending on the version), Digital Soundtrack, and Dynamic Theme.
SIES also announced that PS4 Pro God of War Limited Edition console would be available in April this year. It will have a manufacturer's suggested retail price of RM1999.
The limited edition console is a specially designed PlayStation 4 Pro (PS4 Pro) with 1TB HDD, Wireless Controller (DUALSHOCK 4), and the Blu-ray Disc version of the PS4 title God of War.
