Econpile bags RM25.9m construction job

PETALING JAYA: Econpile Holdings Bhd has been awarded a contract worth RM25.9 million for the redevelopment of a hospital in Kota Damansara.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Econpile said the 15-months contract was awarded by Putra Perdana Construction Sdn Bhd.
The contract work comprises site preparation, earthworks, piling, basement, car park lower ground and retaining wall for the redevelopment of the seven-storey hospital building and an additional 12-storey building.
The contract is expected to contribute positively to the revenue and earnings of the group for the financial year ending June 30, 2018.
Econpile’s share price rose 2.1% or 2 sen, to close at 97 sen with a total of 8.35 million shares traded.
