GEORGE TOWN: DAP will keep its status quo on all the seat it won in the last general election.
The announcement was made by Pakatan Harapan head of secretariat Datuk Saifuddin Abdullah during ceramah at the Pakatan Harapan (PH) 10th year anniversary celebration at The Esplanade.
PKR, who won 10 of the 16 seats it contested in GE13, will contest in 14 seats and give up two state seats it contested in the last general election to Bersatu and Amanah.
Bersatu the youngest member in the coalition will contest in the Malay bastion of Penaga, Bertam, Permatang Berangan on the mainland, and Teluk Bahang on the island.
Teluk Bahang was previously contested by PKR, while Penaga and Permatang Berangan were contested by PAS and Amanah had it its own coordinator after PAS quit from Pakatan Rakyat in 2015.
Amanah will contest three state seats , after it willingly give up seats of Permatang Berangan and Penaga to Bersatu.
