KUALA LUMPUR: Seven police personnel including six women were injured after the four-wheel drive they were travelling in skidded in Jalan Mahameru while heading towards the city centre here, today.
In the incident at about 8am, the vehicle was carrying Sentul police headquarters staff in their 20s and 30s to Kuala Lumpur police contingent headquarters for training.
Kuala Lumpur Traffic Investigation and Enforcement chief ACP Zulkefly Yahya said the vehicle was believed to have suffered a technical problem before skidding to the road shoulder on the left.
"All victims sustained light injuries and were treated at Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL) as outpatients," he said when contacted by Bernama here today.
Meanwhile, a Civil Defence Force (APM) spokesman said they received a call at 8.35am and sent an ambulance to the location.
"APM personnel later brought all victims to HKL for treatment," he said. — Bernama
