KUALA LUMPUR: An activist of the Muslim Consumers Association of Malaysia (PPIM) Yusuf Azmi has lodged a police report against four male staff of a company in connection with the leakage of personal information and files of its customers.
Yusuf, who is the manager of Risk Group Management and Consultancy, a company appointed by PPIM to handle and manage documents and files of its customers, said he suspected the four men, all in their 30s, as being responsible for the leakage.
He said a police report was also lodged over an incident at the PPIM office at Jalan Tun Ismail last Thursday when about 30 men trespassed into the office and fled with several documents.
He was met by reporters after lodging the report at the Dang Wangi police headquarters here today. — Bernama
