BDB group MD Izham Yusoff dies

ALOR STAR: Datuk Izham Yusoff, managing director of Kumpulan Bina Darulaman Berhad (BDB), died today. He was 50.
Izham passed away at the Pantai Hospital in Kuala Lumpur at about 8 am after having difficulty breathing while jogging, said BDB group corporate communications senior manager Sajahan Abdul Waheed.
"He leaves behind wife Datin Joani Sofina Othman, 49, and a son and a daughter," he said in a statement here.
Sajahan said Izham, who had also been the executive director, was appointed an independent non-executive director of BDB in August 2013 and then as a non-independent executive director in February 2014.
He said Izham had also been appointed as a member of the Tabung Haji Investment Panel on Oct 1 last year. — Bernama
