PM's wife spends time with Perlis women NGO

KANGAR: Twenty-seven women non-governmental organisations (NGOs) in Perlis attended an afternoon tea gathering with the Prime Minister's wife, Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, here today.
Among the NGOs present was the Charity Organisation of the Wives of Perlis Barisan Nasional Elected Representatives (Baidunita), Police Family Association (Perkep), Malaysian Muslim Welfare Organisation (Perkim) and the Association of Wives and Women Members of the Malaysian Civil Service (Puspanita).
Rosmah was in Perlis to accompany Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak on his one-day official visit to the state today.
At the event, she spent almost two hours to mingle with all the members of the NGOs present while enjoying the special dish, laksa Perlis.
Also present were Baidunita president Datin Seri Noraswana Omar and Arau UMNO Wanita head Datuk Shamsiah Mohd Yasin. — Bernama
