Body of drowned Sabah flour worker found near jetty

LABUAN: The body of a 37-year-old Sabah Flour and Feed Mills worker who fell off the jetty on Tuesday morning has been located.
A Labuan Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) search and rescue team found Latif Ibrahim Goh's remains at 9.55 pm, about 10 metres from where he was reported to have fallen and drowned.
MMEA Labuan enforcement chief, Maritime Capt Che Adnan Md ISA said based on the closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage, the man was walking along the jetty alone around 7am when he slipped and fell.
"We were told the deceased couldn't swim," he told Bernama.
Che Adnan said the body was lifted up to the jetty by a Labuan Fire and Rescue Department diving rescue team and sent to the hospital for post mortem. — Bernama
