Indonesian woman, toddler in fatal in Seremban accident

PORT DICKSON: An Indonesian woman and her three-year-old son lost their lives when a car rammed into her husband's motorcycle which they were riding pillion at KM 10 Jalan Seremban near here last night.
Port District Police chief Supt Zainudin Ahmad said Mulyana, 39, died at the scene while Hidayu Nurmadna succumbed to his injuries at Tuanku Jaafar Hospital, Seremban in the 8.30 pm incident.
"Initial investigations revealed the vehicle, a Perodua Kembara, was driven by a 64-year-old man who was heading to Seremban.
"The man lost control of the vehicle and hit the rear of Akmin Hariyanto's motorcycle on the same lane," Zainudin said in a statement today.
He said Akim, 47, and another pillion rider, the toddler's twin Hidayah Nurmadna, sustained light injuries.
"The weather was good and the road surface, dry, at the time," he added. — Bernama
