Unbecoming of leader to involve children in politics, says Teng (Video)

    GEORGE TOWN: The act of Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng dancing to the tune of a parody of Goods and Services Tax (GST) song in the presence of children at an event in Penang has been described as irresponsible.
    State Gerakan chairman Teng Chang Yeow said it was unbecoming of a leader to involve children in politics.
    "They (Opposition) totally have no idea on what GST is all about," he said about the video clip of the act has gone viral on social media.
    The parody song was a hit among netizens. It featuredr Kulai MP Teo Nie Ching singing the short alphabet song to mock the tax.
    Bukit Mertajam MP Steven Sim, in defending the song, said it is fact that people are burdened by GST.
