Singapore warehouse razed, four days after oil storage tank fire

SINGAPORE: A fire broke out at 11 Kranji Crescent here early this morning involving piles of waste materials contained within a warehouse.
This is the second major industrial-related fire this week, after Monday evening's blaze involving an oil storage tank on the island of Pulau Busing.
Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) posted on its Facebook around 3am that it has been alerted to the fire at the warehouse.
In its latest update, SCDF said firefighting operations is still ongoing, with the fire having been well surrounded and confined to an area of approximately 600 square meters.
Currently, a total of 22 firefighting appliances from the initial 16 and 70 Emergency Responders are at the scene fighting the fire. — Bernama
