Police hot on trail of pick-up truck thieves

KAJANG: Police are closing in on a pick-up truck theft group in Sungai Long and Bandar Mahkota Cheras here.
Kajang district police chief ACP Ahmad Dzaffir Mohd Yussof said the group comprising four men has been responsible for one vehicle theft and four attempted vehicle thefts since the end of February.
"The four locals will target drivers of pick-up trucks at petrol stations and when they stop at the side of the road. They are armed with machetes and knives," he said today.
Ahmad Dzaffir said the police are in the midst of tracking them down. He was commenting on a viral social media post, claiming the syndicate have been active stealing vehicles in Kajang.
