Exciting MAS deals at Penang Matta fair

GEORGE TOWN: Visitors to the Penang Matta fair this coming weekend can look forward to enjoying price discounts on several local and international destinations offered by national carrier Malaysia Airlines (MAS).
Being the official airline, many exclusive holiday deals and promotions are waited to be given to the visitors flocking into the Matta fair at Straits Quay beginning this Friday till Sunday.
Its immediate past president Datuk Hamzah Rahmat said an estimated of 40 to 50% off on airfares to local destinations and international cities will be up for grabs.
The mentioned international cities are London, Sydney, Perth, Den Pasar, Jakarta, Phnom Penh, Tokyo, Incheon, Guangzhou, Dhaka and Colombo.
There will also be special fares to destinations including Paris, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Frankfurt and Fukuoka through Malaysia Airlines airline partners.
This, he said, is expected to be the crowd puller to the fair which estimates to target sales of RM20million and attract 20,000 of visitors.
Apart from it, the inaugural participation by the Ministry of Tourism Republic of Indonesia at this fair will showcase Phinisi Ship as the focus of interest featuring 10 priority destinations in Indonesia, especially Lake Toba, Borobudur and Mandalika.
Visitors will also get the opportunity to discover cultural traditions of Malay Riau at Riau Tourism Office booth at the event.
Other attractive and interesting holiday packages include destinations to Europe with a deal starting at RM10,088 while honeymooners can also purchase exciting honeymoon tour at a competitive price.
This includes four days and three nights Lombok Honeymoon tour at RM1899 per couple and four days and three nights Bali Honeymoon Tour at RM1499 per couple.
Hamzah called on the people to grab this rare chances and drop by at the fair in Straits Quay from 10am to 9pm.
