S'wak Health Department staff told to be polite to their patients

KUCHING: Sarawak Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Dr Sim Kui Hian wants the State Health Department staff to be polite to their patients and members of the public.
"Every staff should practice good ways of speaking to their patients and public during your working hours and bring good habits at homes to their workplace.
"If you are not happy, then everyone will not be happy and will bring bad atmosphere to the workplace," he said when presenting the Excellence Service Awards 2017 to 836 staff of the State Health Department's southern zone here today.
The southern zone recipients were department staff from Kuching, Samarahan, Serian and Sri Aman.
Dr Sim said the award ceremony was in recognition and appreciation of their high commitment and dedication shown throughout 2017.
