KUALA LUMPUR: Allianz Malaysia Berhad is partnering with PolicyStreet to provide Malaysians with better online access to insurance products.
PolicyStreet is an insurance technology company which offers an online curated platform with an aim to provide simple and affordable insurance solutions that cater for all customer needs.
Through the new partnership, PolicyStreet is offering four Allianz digital products, including the Enhanced Road Warrior, Smart Home Cover, Allianz Travel Care, and Allianz Flight Care.
"In re-engineering the way we do business - being digital-centric and service oriented - Allianz is investing in digital strategies and deploying solutions that respond to industry challenges and take advantage of opportunities to reshape and improve the insurance business," Allianz Malaysia Bhd CEO Zakri Khir said recently.
"This includes providing enterprising distribution channels where customers have continuous access to our products. This is where PolicyStreet complements the puzzle, presenting yet another platform in which, Allianz will be able to further expand our reach in the digital space apart from our own platform Allianz Online."
This partnership focuses on introducing a complete insurance portfolio to online customers. Enhanced Road Warrior is a personal accident coverage that also offers 24-hour comprehensive roadside assistance and services. Smart Home Cover is a customisable home insurance product that provides optional coverage against wear-and-tear, tenant damage and mortgage loan installments.
Allianz Travel Care gives travellers a peace of mind by providing protection against personal accident, medical expenses and travel inconveniences, while Allianz Flight Care compensates customers that experience domestic flight delays exceeding 30 minutes.
PolicyStreet CEO Lee Yen Mingsaid: "We are excited and honoured to partner with the leading insurer in Malaysia.
