Malaysian Cup Prix in Pahang makes way for GE14

KUALA LUMPUR: The second round of Petronas AAM Malaysian Cub Prix 2018 championship scheduled on May 5 and 6 in Temerloh, Pahang has been postponed to a new date to give way to the 14th general election (GE14).
The championship promoter, Two Wheels Motor Racing Sdn Bhd announced the postponement was decided as the Election Commission had set May 5 as the early voting date which clashed with the scheduled race day.
"On the advice and discussion with the Pahang state government, we decided to postpone the race to another date," the company said in a statement.
The first round of the competition was held at Tangkak Circuit in Johor on March 31 to April 1. — Bernama
