Amanah to contest three parliamentary and 10 state seats in Kedah

    ALOR STAR: Parti Amanah Negara (Amanah) yesterday announced 13 candidates to contest in Kedah in the 14th General Election (GE14).
    Amanah president Mohamad Sabu said the 13 seats comprised three parliamentary seats and 10 state seats.
    Amanah vice-president, Datuk Mahfuz Omar, who is the incumbent for the Pokok Sena parliamentary seat, will defend his seat.
    He said for the other two parliamentary seats, Amanah nominated Kedah Amanah vice Youth chief Mohd Khairizal Khazali to contest in Padang Terap while Azli Che Uda who is Sik division committee member, would be contesting in Sik.
    He made the announcement during his speech at Hutan Kampung near here, last night.
    Meanwhile, for the state seats, Amanah deputy president Datuk Phahrolrazi Zawawi who was formerly the Pengkalan Kundor assemblyman, will contest the Alor Mengkudu state seat.
    Kedah Amanah chairman, Datuk Dr Ismail Salleh will contest in Pengkalan Kundur.

    Kedah Amanah youth chief Mohd Asmirul Anuar Aris (Kubang Rotan), businessman Mohd Firdaus Jaafar (Tokai), businessman Zahran Abdullah (Sungai Limau), Sik division deputy chief Abdul Rashid Abdullah (Belantek), Sungai Petani division chief Rosli Yusof (Pantai Merdeka), Kedah Amanah vice president Johari Abdullah (Kupang), and Padang Serai division chief Abd Razak Salleh (Merbau Pulas).
