Kelantan BN to announce candidates before April 25

KOTA BARU: The list of Barisan Nasional candidates in Kelantan for the 14th general election (GE14) may be announced before April 25, said Kelantan BN chairman Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed.
He said the names of the candidates had been finalised and expressed confidence in their capability.
"We produce the best candidates to face the candidates from rival parties," he told reporters after opening Dataran Tok Pa and Astaka Padang Perdana at Jalan Dato' Pati here today.
Construction of Dataran Tok Pa began on June 16, 2016 and was completed on Nov 31, 2016 at a cost of RM450,000.
Yesterday, Kelantan Mentri Besar Datuk Ahmad Yakob was reported to have said that the Kelantan PAS would announce its candidates for GE14 between April 23 and 25.
On Kelantan BN Manifesto, Mustapa said among the focus would be on championing the youths and developing the state.
It would be announced before end of the week, he added.
Mustapa said the state government should have good relations with the federal government to enable more development projects to be carried out in Kelantan for the benefit of the people.
If the people were to give their mandate for BN to administer the state again, more development can certainly be carried out in Kelantan with support from the federal government, he added. — Bernama
