Four Daesh militants at large described as dangerous

KUALA LUMPUR: Four suspected Daesh militants who are at large and are planning to launch armed attacks on places of worship of non-Muslims are being sought by police.
The suspected militants including a man and his son from Kelantan are also plotting to abduct and kill police personnel.
Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Mohamad Fuzi Harun said today the male suspects comprising of three Malaysians and a Thai are remnants of a local militant cell that was busted in March with the arrest of its members.
He described the four wanted men as dangerous and are capable of acts which could endanger national security.
He warned that those who harboured the suspects can face court action for protecting a terrorist and criminal conspiracy and face up to 30 years imprisonment.
Mohamad Fuzi urged those with information on the whereabouts of the suspected militants to contact the nearest police station or the investigations officer of the federal police Special Branch's counterterrorism division Insp Mohd Badri Othman at 017-6727120.
He named the suspects as:
1. Muhamad Faizal Muhamad Hanafi (890115-03-5113) of Tumpat, Kelantan
2. Muhamad Hanafi Yah (670506-71-5437) also of Tumpat, Kelantan
3. Nor Farkhan Mohd Isa (870711-01-5487) of Skudai, Johor
4. Awae Wae-Eya (Thai ID: 2-9631-0002-34-2/ Passport: AA6228527) of Narathiwat, Thailand.
