Mara chairman's son dies

KUALA LUMPUR: A son of MARA chairman Datuk Dr Awang Adek Hussin died at his residence in Jalan Tropica Utama, Petaling Jaya, near here last night.
Special officer to Awang Adek, Che Samsuzaha Che Noh said Ahmad Azram, 33, who was a bachelor, breathed his last at 11.40 pm.
"Ahmad Azram did not have any illness and died a sudden death.
"The funeral prayers would be held at Masjid Al-Ghufran Taman Tun Dr. Ismail after the Zuhur prayers," he said when contacted by Bernama, here today.
He said Ahmad Azram's remains would be laid to rest at the Bukit Kiara Muslim Cemetery.
Ahmad Azram, a disabled person, was the third of five siblings.
Meanwhile, Awang Adek said Azram was a very special child to him.
"Thank you to all. Azram is my special child and he passed on at 33," he said in a WhatsApp message. — Bernama
