Applications for Taiwan fellowships open till June 30

PETALING JAYA: Malaysian scholars from research institutes or universities are encouraged to apply for the 2019 Taiwan Fellowship before June 30.
The fellowship is sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of China (Taiwan).
Successful applicants will be able to conduct their research in Taiwan's universities, colleges, or research institutes next year.
The fellowship is open to all research fields which include subjects such as Taiwan's participation in regional mechanism on economy and trade, enhancement of global and regional connectivity,
New Southbound Policy and security issues of the Asia-Pacific region.
The duration of the fellowship is from three months to one year up to his/her research proposal in Taiwan.
The fellowship package covers a monthly stipend from NTD50,000 or NTD60,000 (approximately RM6,700 or RM8,000）and a round-trip air ticket between the recipient's country of residence and Taiwan.
