PFP expects to contest 13 seats in GE14

GEORGE TOWN: Penang Front Party (PFP), which will be the third voice in this coming general election, is expected to place candidates in 13 seats including a parliament seat.
Its president, Datuk Patrick Ooi, said these candidates who are slated to be fielded are mostly fresh faces and below the age 40.
Out of these candidates, he said two of them are women, while all of them are either professionals or businesspersons.
He believes this would give them an edge in a bid to let the people's voices be heard in parliament and also the state sssembly.
Ooi was speaking after collecting the 13 nomination forms at the state Election Commission (EC) office in Weld Quay.
This 14th General Election will be first appearance for PFP.
