Palestinian lecturer gunned down at Jalan Gombak

KUALA LUMPUR: A Palestinian University lecturer was shot and killed by two assailants in front of his condominium at Jalan Gombak here this morning.
The 35-year-old man who was a lecturer at a private university was on his way to a nearby mosque at around 6am when the two men on a motorcycle fired shots at him.
"They fired ten shots at him as he was walking out of the Idaman Puteri condominium," said Kuala Lumpur police chief Commissioner Datuk Seri Mazlan Lazim (pix).
Lazim said the assailants had shot ten rounds at the man, instantly killing him on the spot.
He was married and had been living at the condominium for some time.
"There were four bullet wounds on his body and we recovered two bullets at the scene," he said.
He added investigations are ongoing.
