KUALA LUMPUR: Motorists should be careful when approaching Jalan Perdana 6/2, Pandan Perdana here following the appearance of speed bumps which have not been painted with yellow lines.
Apart from being unpainted, two bumps which were built close together posed a danger as many drivers lost control of their vehicles suddenly hit the bumps.
A Bernama observation along the road found the road bumps could cause danger to motorists especially those passing through for the first time.
Resident Leong Siew Kim, 43, said the road had just been tarred for the opening of the new Ampang Jaya Municipal Council Stadium on April 8.
"Two humps were built close to each other caused many motorists to suffer a rude shock and there was an accident involving a motorcyclist several days ago," she said here today.
Meanwhile Pandan MCA division chief Datuk Leong Kok Hwei hoped MPAJ would build yellow warning lines on the road to replace the two dangerous bumps.
"Based on resident feedbacks, they want MPAJ to replace the bumps with warning lines to slow down traffic along the road. — Bernama
