More Purity from Philosophy

Here to wash away all your clogged-skin woes is the latest addition to US beauty brand Philosophy’s Purity range, the Purity Made Simple Pore Extractor and Purity Made Simple Micellar Cleansing Water.
During the launch at Flyproject, DC Mall, on April 10, guests and Philosophy’s first Malaysian Purity girl, Bella Kuan, were treated to a full yoga session before a product demonstration was done on her.
The new multi-action extractor mask was created based on the much-loved and raved about Purity facial cleanser.
With a list of ingredients including white kaolin clay to extract dirt and oil, salicylic acid to shrink pores, and natural diatomaceous earth to smooth away rough skin, the mask leaves you with baby-soft skin.
The mask doubles as a face scrub for a gentle but deep cleansing effect, thanks to the natural clay-like texture of diatomaceous earth.
Agreeing on Philosophy’s promise, Bella said: “I think it works great as an exfoliant … [which] is very subtle. It’s not too harsh and you can feel like your pores are really deeply cleansed.
“It minimises my pores as well. They’re definitely smaller.
The new micellar water proved to be handy since it’s also inspired by the same fan-favourite Purity facial cleanser formula.
It boasts similarly powerful abilities in terms of dissolving makeup, dirt, oil –and in this case, sweat– for a fresh, no-rinse clean minus any oily residue.
Containing tiny micelle molecules which acts like a magnet pulling out impurities and makeup, it is effective as part of a double cleanse routine and a perfect pick-me-up after the gym.
As for Bella’s new role with Philosophy, the social media influencer is excited and looking forward to introducing the simple but effective goodness of the Purity range.
