KUCHING: PBDS Baru is opening its door to the five who were sacked from the Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS), a state Barisan Nasional (BN) component party.
The five, deputy party president and Minister in the Prime Minister'S Department Datuk Joseph Entulu Belaun, vice president Datuk William Nyalau Badak and three Supreme Council members Nyempah Sabot, Edward Kurik and Adriana Chumang Nyambung were sacked for disrupting party unity.
PBDS Baru Youth Chief and election director Rapelson Hamit claimed what PRS president Tan Sri Dr James Jemut Masing did to the five was unacceptable as a leader.
"Entulu and Nyalau should leave their comfort zone and join PBDS Baru as they are also former members of the defunct PBDS.
"We are one Dayak family. No one can be sacked or terminated for being too vocal about speaking the truth. This is democratic rights of every citizen," he said in a statement.
