Selangor BN women candidates pledge to improve people's welfare

SHAH ALAM: Selangor BN women candidates contesting in the 14th general election is determined to serve with full dedication to look after the welfare of the people in their respective constituencies if they were elected.
Former Kota Damansara state assemblyman Datuk Halimaton Saadiah Bohan said among the agenda in her focus over the next five years was to fulfill the need of women to have their own houses.
"Many of the women youths living in Kota Damansara and its surrounding areas are still unable to own houses as the price of properties in the area is quite high.
"This is my responsibility as an elected representative to meet the needs of voters to own houses," she told Bernama after attending the announcement of Selangor BN candidates here today.
Halimaton who is standing in the Kota Damansara state seat said as her first step she would apply to the federal government to build more affordable houses in the area. — Bernama
