Six new faces as DAP Selangor's state seat candidates

PETALING JAYA: Six new faces and one former assemblyman have been named by DAP to contest for the Selangor state seats in the upcoming GE14.
The six new faces are Brian Lai (Teratai), Edry Faizal Yusof (Dusun Tua), Michelle Ng (Subang Jaya), Lim Yi Wei (Kampung Tunku), Jamaliah Jamaluddin (Bandar Utama, formerly known as Damansara Utama), and Tony Leong (Pandamaran).
Former Selangor executive councillor Ronnie Liu has been named the party candidate for Sungai Pelek, the seat which DAP won with a relatively narrow margin of 1,972 votes in the last election.
The announcement was made by the party's secretary-general Lim Guan Eng at DAP's Bangi election operation centre on Sunday morning.
Lim also announced the lineup of those who will be contesting for the party parliamentary and state seats.
