Good Vibes returns to The Ranch

THE FIFTH edition of #GoodVibesFest returns this year on July 21 and 22 at The Ranch in Gohtong Jaya, Genting Highlands.
Presented by Toyota, the two-day getaway festival will feature New Zealand singer-songwriter Lorde, English alt-prog trio alt-J, and American act The Neighbourhood.
Other international acts in the lineup are Australian pop phenomenon Nick Murphy aka Chet Faker, Seattle-based electronic duo Odesza, Prodigal producer S.G. Lewis, French prodigy Petit Biscuit, American DJ-production duo Louis the Child, and Toronto duo Majid Jordan.
Local artistes joining them include rapper Altimet, who will be performing with The Kawan Band, Noh Salleh (frontman of indie rock stalwarts Hujan), five-piece rock ‘n’ roll band Kyoto Protocol, electro duo Pastel Lite, rapper Zamaera, indie-pop artiste Froya, songstress-songwriter Bil Musa, local-based Indonesian producer Emir Hermono, and singer-songwriter and YouTuber Lunadira.
In addition, SaturdaySelects, the beatmaker and selector collective made up of members like Lionel Rizki, Reddi Rocket and Roshan, will hold it down at the Electric Fields stage on the first day, before making way for rhythm ‘n’ blues powerhouse Raising the Bar presents A-Kid, Senna, Dan $hiv, and more on the festival’s final day.
Also party with premier DJ duo Naufal & I-Sky, as well as Dangerdisko, Kuala Lumpur’s purveyors of fine dirty disco and new wave.
More international and local acts will be added to the #GoodVibesFest bill in the coming weeks.
Tickets are already on sale now as well as VIP tickets and hotel packages. For the first time ever, festival goers have the option to purchase VIP passes with special benefits.
The festival is supported by U Mobile as the official telco, UOB Yolo as the official credit card, and Resorts World Genting as the official venue.
