PKR to contest in 15 parliamentary seats

KUCHING: PKR will contest in 15 parliamentary seats while Amanah in six parliamentary seats in Sarawak in the 14th General Election (GE14).
The announcement of the list of candidates was made by state PKR chairman Baru Bian and state Amanah secretary Abang Abdul Halil Abang Naili in a hotel here yesterday.
Baru, who is also Ba'kelalan state assemblyman, announced that he would contest in the Selangau parliamentary seat.
He added Dr Michael Teo would be defending the Miri parliamentary seat, the sole seat held by PKR in the state.
The event was also attended by Sarawak DAP chairman Chong Chieng Jen. — Bernama
