PETALING JAYA: Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) will impose a RM10 million fine on its candidates who defect after winning on its ticket in the 14th General Election (GE14).
PKR candidates who were given their appointment letters by its president Datuk Seri Wan Azizah Wan Ismail had to sign a legal document to that effect, The Star reported today.
"In the last election, the fine was RM5mil. It is higher this time because we expect a closer fight," Negri Sembilan PKR chief Aminuddin Harun was quoted as saying.
