CELCOM continues to evolve its Xpax prepaid packages with two new offerings, which were launched with great fanfare recently in Kuala Lumpur with a musical performance by local rap artiste SonaOne.
Both new packages are touted to be flexible and app-driven.
Already available in stores, the Xpax Starter Pack at RM10 gives users 10GB of 'basic internet' (internet connection at 64kbps), RM6 of preloaded credit, and 300MB of high-speed internet access that is valid for five days.
Users can also enhance their Xpax Starter Pack with the Xpax Internet daily, weekly, or monthly plans.
The daily plan gives users 2GB of high-speed internet starting at RM3 for a day, plus unlimited access to Music Walla.
The weekly plan, from RM6 for 500MB of high-speed internet for a week, also comes with unlimited access to Music Walla and iFlix premium.
Finally, the monthly plan, which starts at RM30, gives users 5GB of high-speed internet access for a month and includes unlimited access to Music Walla and iFlix premium, as well as unlimited access to YouTube between 1am and 7am.
According to Celcom Axiata Bhd head of marketing (prepaid and postpaid) Daren Victor, the flexibility of the new Xpax comes from the fact that customers can pick from one of four features on offer every month.
These are 10GB of Facebook, 10GB of Instagram, 3GB of YouTube, or unlimited high-speed access to Whatsapp, WeChat and Twitter.
Meanwhile, for customers under 25 years old, Celcom's new Xpax Youth plan promises 50% more high-speed internet access, but only with the monthly internet plan.
This means that for RM50 a month, Xpax Youth plan users will get 15GB of high-speed internet, and unlimited calls to five friends on Celcom, instead of just 10GB of internet.
Additionally, Xpax Youth users will receive 100GB of high-speed access with the Super Video Wall if they download the Celcom Life app, subscribe to any of the monthly internet plans, and register five friends for unlimited calls.
The Celcom Life app provides customers with unified access to manage Xpax and FIRST accounts.
With it, customers can easily monitor their online transactions, purchase more reload or add-ons, keep track of their data consumption, and more.
Celcom Business Operations deputy chief executive officer Azwan Khan Osman Khan said: "As Celcom continues to enrich its consumers' digital experience, our consumers can have it their way by being able to customise and personalise their plans to best suit their digital lifestyles, [without the] hassle, and always staying digitally awesome."
