Dropped Puad can blame me, says Khaled

JOHOR BARU: Johor Umno chief Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin said he is willing to take the blame for Umno supreme council member Datuk Mohd Puad Zarkashi for not being chosen to contest in GE14.
"I am willing to take the heat, he can criticise as much as he wants. He can blame me, but not the top leadership," Khaled said today.
"I hope that after Puad has finished with his talking, he will come to work for Umno to ensure victory."
On whether Faud would face disciplinary action, Khaled Nordin said: "That is not for me to answer."
Meanwhile, Johor BN secretary Datuk Md Jais Sarday said the election operation rooms in Batu Pahat was functioning well.
"They are working, not as "closed as claimed by some quarters," he said.
