IF YOU are suffering from superhero movie fatigue, this movie might actually do you in.
However if you are a huge fan who can't get enough of them, you will undoubtedly enjoy Avengers: Infinity War.
This eagerly-anticipated film boasts almost all the superheros from movies produced by Marvel Studios.
It begins with how Thanos (Brolin), the destroyer of worlds who is responsible for the alien invasion that took place in 2012's The Avengers, has killed off most of the survivors of Asgard who were forced to flee their destroyed world after the events of Thor: Ragnarok.
Thanos has been conducting his version of population control across different worlds, and he is hell bent on getting his hands on some powerful infinity stones that will help him finish the job, as one character describes, "with just a snap of his fingers".
Without giving away too much, The Hulk aka Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo) who was on one of the refugee ships, manages to make his way back to Earth and warns others of Thanos' impending arrival.
Turns out two of the stones Thanos requires are on Earth and, hence, the superheroes have to put aside their differences and save the world.
On one side, you have Tony Stark aka Iron Man (Downey Jr), Dr Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) and Spider-Man (Tom Holland) teaming up to take the fight to Thanos.
Meanwhile, Captain America (Chris Evans) and his band of warriors must first remove one of the stones which is stuck on the forehead of Vision (Paul Bettany).
To do so, they travel to Wakanda (yay!) to seek the help of the Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) and his awesome people.
As for Thor (Hemsworth), well he teams up with the gang from Guardians of the Galaxy, but their quest is more personal in nature.
At about two-and-a-half hours long, this is one epic movie that provides you with non-stop action. There are also many comedic moments, some that do feel out-of-place in the middle of dramatic scenes.
Some fan favourites will get killed, and some of them you want to kill. However, if you are a fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, you will want to watch this movie with like-minded fans.
As usual, look out for the stinger after the end credits.
