Johari to defend seat in three-cornered fight in Titiwangsa

KUALA LUMPUR: It will be a three-cornered fight in Titiwangsa, one of the hot seats in the city as incumbent Datuk Seri Johari Abdul Ghani (pix) will face Pakatan Harapan's Rina Harun and PAS' Mohammad Noor Mohammad to retain the seat he won in 2013 with a slim majority of 886.
Arriving at 9.01am at the nomination centre today, Johari was clad in the symbolic navy blue baju melayu.
His opponent, Rina arrived at 9.05am followed by Mohammad Noor to file their nominations respectively.
Rina, who was a former Umno member is now the Wanita chief for Bersatu.
She was dressed in a red baju kurung and a light blue headscarf, representing the colours of the PH parties.
Mohammad Noor had contested in this constituency in 1999 and 2004 but lost to BN in both the elections.
The nominations will close at 10am today.
