A free cuppa for Boo and he shares his respite

JOHOR BARU: Former Johor DAP chief Dr Boo Cheng Hau had his coffee at Pontian pasar on Nomination Day, a respite from hectic campaigning for the politician dropped from the polls.
He posted on Facebook his chat with a coffeshop operator who asked if he was contesting and treated him to a free cuppa for breakfast.
"Visited 'Kheng Guan Hiang' kopitiam on the nomination day morning whose young boss recognised me as 'the Rocket's Dr. Boo' and treated me to a free breakfast. So why should anyone worry I would ever contest as an independent?" he posted.
"Made rounds at Pontian, Benut, Rengit, Kukup and Tanjung Piai and saw an interesting blue eyed balloon being raised at Tj Piai while saying hello to the local Malay PH members there."
Boo resigned as state DAP chief in 2015.
