KUALA LUMPUR: Petronas Dagangan Bhd (PDB) and Grab Malaysia today launched the Grab Driver Pit Stop which is an area for Grab driver partners to rest before continuing their journey.
Grab Malaysia Country Head Sean Goh said the number of pit stops would be increased to more than 100 stations by year-end. The pit stop will be rolled out on May 2.
"Grab driver partners will also enjoy fuel rebates of up to RM22 monthly via the Fuel Savers Programme. The programme which was previously applicable to selected top performing drivers only is now extended to Silver, Gold and Platinum drivers in the GrabAllStars programme," he said in a news conference held here today.
"We are very excited to work with Grab in creating this unique experience for the Grab drivers, who often had to drive long hours. The Grab Drivers Pit Stop is an ideal place for the drivers to rest and freshen themselves."
He added that the lounge was the first of its kind that would serve as a comfortable place for all drivers to recharge.
"They will also enjoy complimentary Mesra mineral water or hot coffee for every RM50 purchase of fuel, as well as other special offers," he said.
Present also was PDB Head of Retail Business Aadrian Azly.
