Free petrol for motorcyclists

01 May 2018 / 13:32 H.

GEORGE TOWN: The Penang Front Party (PFP) treated 100 motorcyclists to a free petrol top-up at Datuk Keramat yesterday.
Party chairman Datuk Patrick Ooi said the party managed to secure the sponsorship from a well-wisher and decided to put the contribution to good use.
He said the free petrol programme would help reduce the burden of the people.
News about the "free petrol" was also circulated via social media, leading to a long line of motorcyclists at the petrol station in Datuk Keramat here.
Speaking to reporters here, PFP's Datuk Keramat candidate Nicholas Diane said this was one of PFP's efforts to reach out to the community.
Nicholas will face incumbent Jagdeep Singh Deo from DAP, Lee Boon Ten from Barisan Nasional, Lim Boo Chang from Malaysian United Party and independent candidate Muhammad Majnun Abdul Wahab.
