Bentong development must emulate the Lee Chong Wei spirit

BENTONG: The development of Bentong should emulate the "Lee Chong Wei spirit," Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai says.
Liow praised Chong Wei's fighting spirit which he said is evident until the last second of his matches to make the country proud.
"For Bentong, every resident is a team player. We need everyone's participation to make Bentong the satellite town of Greater Kuala Lumpur," the incumbent Bentong MP said.
Liow, who is also MCA president, was joined by national badminton player and Olympic silver medallist Chong Wei in a match at the Bentong Youth Club here.
Earlier, he had taken to the court with his wife, Datin Lee Sun Loo to play against Chong Wei and a club senior.
More than 100 members of the public watched in awe as Lee sparred with club members, including children.
In GE13, Liow had won the seat with a narrow 379-vote majority against environmentalist Wong Tack, who stood on a DAP ticket.
The two will fight it out again on May 9.
