Vote for change or progress, says Johor MB

JOHOR BARU: Caretaker Johor Menteri Besar Datuk Mohamed Khaled Nordin said the coming general election (GE14) is let the people make two choices — to change the government or continue iwth progress.
He urged voters to pick proggress for Johor as the BN government would continue to implement policies that would develop the state into a new economic powerhouse.
He said, the turnout by BN supporters in last GE13 was lower than expected.
"We hope our supporters will come out and vote for BN on May 9," he said after the army camps in Tebrau here this morning.
Mohamed Khaled said as Johor state BN chief he could have pick a safe constituency to contest, but he chose a Pasir Gudang parliamentary which is a marginal seat due to his loyalty to the people there.
In 2013, Normala Abdul Samad of BN defeated PKR candidate Ahmad Faidi Saidi by a slim majority of 935 votes.
Mohamed Khaled also defend his Permas state seat.
