Guan Eng: Wind of change in Sabah will swing it for Pakatan

TELUK INTAN: The wind of change appears to be sweeping through Sabah, and this could be one of the three factors that could tilt the 14th General Election (GE14) in Pakatan Harapan's (PH) favour, DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng has said.
He said he was certain that Sabah would change, and his recent experience there was an eye-opener.
"The chances are definitely much higher this time around as most of the locals there are singing the same tune, that is they want to change in Sabah.
This is very apparent as there are more Parti Warisan Sabah flags than those of BN," Lim said to the cheers and applause of the crowd at a ceramah in Teluk Intan crowd last night.
He outlined three factors that could win GE14 for PH — breaking BN's hold in its Sabah and Sarawak; Malay Tsunami; and high voter turnout.
"It all comes down to three main factors on whether or not we are able to defeat BN and form the Federal Government. Among it is by breaking BN's fixed deposit in Sabah and Sarawak," Lim said.
"The crowd that attended our recent talk in Malacca and Putrajaya were simply amazing and the huge turnout of Malay community in those talks simply emphasised the fact that Malay tsunami is coming and it will happen in GE14.
"The response that we got from the Malacca was so overwhelming and packed to the point where we can't see the end of it. I believed if the Malacca Mentri Besar will faint and PM might not be able to sleep if both of them see the situation."
Lim also emphasised on the need for the high turnout of voters for PH to achieve its "Ubah" agenda.
"In this election, we need to achieve at least 80% voters' turnout as any less will not enable us to defeat BN. Hence, it is important that everyone return to their hometowns and vote for a better future," he said.
Lim refuted a claim by caretaker Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak that the Opposition imported outsiders to their talks and event.

"I like to tell this to Najib that most of our crowd attended it on their own accord. We have never ferried them nor did we pay them to attend it."
