KUANTAN: Three registered voters in Pahang lodged police reports over their failure to cast ballots as their names were allegedly used by other parties in the 14th General Election today.
Pahang police chief Datuk Seri Rosli Ab Rahman said the reports involved two cases in Temerloh while the other case occurred in Kuantan.
"The reports were lodged by two voters in Temerloh, namely, a senior citizen, 68, who went to vote at the Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Paya Pulai and another 29-year-old voter who turned up to vote at SK Mentakab Jaya.
"The third case involved a 31-year-old man who went to vote at the SK Galing here," he told a media conference here today.
All the reports lodged have been referred to the Election Commission (EC) for further action, he said. — Bernama
